Desktop play path
Mount Kendall ships as a branded ClassicUO desktop client. The launcher installs or verifies the game data, reads the live release feed, and hands control to the official attested client.
Install the launcher
Use the macOS DMG or the Windows x64 installer/portable build from the current stable release.
Let it verify the world
The launcher keeps app updates and the large UO data pack separate, so app-only updates stay light.

World atlas
Tables from the shard ledgers
Items, creatures, loot references, tameables, skills, spells, and property catalogs are generated from the same audit packs and shard scripts used for content reachability, world spawn coverage, skill gain, housing, ships, and the Assistant World Truth Pack.

Crafting is intentionally broad: classic trade menus, gathering, taming-adjacent preparation, and special craft surfaces are all treated as first-class player work.
Assistant layer
The Assistant
You don’t hand your character to a stranger, and you don’t skip to the top. You give your own character the same orders you’d give an apprentice — mine this vein, finish these ingots, keep the forge hot — and it carries them out while you’re at work. The Assistant is a feature of the shard itself, written by you through an open MCP server and running in the world you can see — not a grey-market bot, not a service you pay to win. What’s waiting for you at night isn’t a finished character; it’s the part you actually wanted to play, with the holding-pattern already done.
Mount Kendall is built for the person who still loves this game and also has a life now — your character doesn’t have to die of neglect just because you grew up.
Connect an agent in three steps
- Install the Mount Kendall desktop client (macOS or Windows) and log in once.
- Open the in-game Assistant → Agent tab and copy the ready-made
claude mcp addorcodex mcp addline — the client fills in the bundle path, so there is nothing to type by hand. - Paste it into Claude Code or Codex and describe what you want; the agent reads the shard’s World Truth Pack and writes the automation for you.
No separate download, npm package, or daemon — the MCP server is built into the client app itself.

Community
Follow the shard
Release notes, GM calls, player onboarding, and field reports belong in one public place. The website reads the same changelog ledger as the launcher, while the channel carries human announcements.
